The volume of wholesale trade turnover from January through November 2021 accounted for 129. 2 trillion soums ($11.9 billion), which is an increase by 17.7 times compared to the beginning of the year (7.2 trillion soums or $674.2 million), Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The volume of wholesale trade turnover in Uzbekistan in 2020 amounted to 120.4 trillion soums ($11.1 billion), increasing by 29 percent in comparison to the indicator of 2019 (93.3 trillion soums or $8.6 billion).
The volume of wholesale trade turnover in 2010 amounted to 11.7 trillion soums ($1 billion), which is 10.2 times less than the indicator of 2020.
On average, the increase in the volume of wholesale trade turnover over the past 10 years amounted to 10.8 trillion soums ($1 billion).
