Uzbekistan discloses volume of service provided for 1M2022

The volume of services provided in Uzbekistan in January 2022 amounted to 23.6 trillion soums ($2.1 billion), which is an increase of 24.3 percent compared to the same period last year (19 trillion soums or $1.7 billion), Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

In the structure of services provided by the type of economic activity, trade services account for the largest share (25.3 percent). At the same time, high rates were noted in financial services (24.2 percent), transport (21.4 percent), communication and informatization services (6.4 percent), as well as in education services (3.9 percent).

The volume of communication and informatization services in this period amounted to 1.5 trillion soums ($140.7 million), transport services - 5 trillion soums ($468.3 million), accommodation and food services - 656.2 billion soums ($60.6 million).

In January 2022, most of the services in the country were provided in Tashkent city, as well as the Tashkent region. The lowest indicator was recorded in the Syrdarya region.

During this period, the volume of services provided per capita reached 678,500 soums ($62.76).
