Uzbekistan exported pomegranates to 6 foreign countries in the amount of $2.4 million in January 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The volume of exports of pomegranates increased by 766 tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
The biggest amount of pomegranates were exported from the country’s Kashkadarya region, which amounted to 530 tons, followed by the Surkhandarya region (470 tons). Taskent region is in third place (378 tons), Fergana region comes next (259 tons).
