BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. Uzbekistan has set up solar panels with capacity of 200 kW on the building of the State Assets Management Agency (UzSAMA), Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Energy.
In particular,408 solar panels and 6 solar water heaters per 200 liters were installed.
The solar power station on the building will generate 480,000 kWh of electricity per year and fully provide electricity to the building of the agency during the daytime.
Uzbekistan pays special attention to the introduction of energy-saving technologies and the development of renewable energy sources (RES). It is expected to increase the share of electricity production using all types of RES to a level of at least 25 percent by 2026.
