BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. China Energy Engineering Corporation is eager to implement joint projects in the field of transport infrastructure with Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
The issue was discussed at the meeting between Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilhom Makhkamov, and the representatives of the delegation from China Energy Engineering Corporation led by Chairman Song Hailiang.
Chairman Hailiang highly praised the reforms carried out in recent years in all sectors of Uzbekistan, particularly in the field of transportation and road management. Based on their advanced experience, the company expressed its intention to participate in projects implemented in Uzbekistan through public-private partnerships in these areas.
The company's leader also emphasized the need to implement joint projects to enhance the qualifications of employees working in the field of transportation and road management, which would be mutually beneficial for both sides.
During the meeting, detailed information about investment projects in the transportation and road management sector was presented to the foreign guests, and presentations were given. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a separate working group to expedite the implementation of joint projects.
