Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejadhad a telephone conversation with his Syrian Counterpart Bashar al-Assad, the Isna news agency reported.

The regional changes take place in favor of Syria and Iran due to firmness of the two countries, Ahmadinejad added. "We should become stronger against the hegemonic forces every day and try to stop breaking Palestinian people's rights," he said.

The Iranian president added that some want to force the Palestinian people to accept the peace and we should demand the international community to punish the "leaders of the Zionist regime".

He also said that some seeks to damage the stability in Iraq.

"Iran and Syria have good relations with each other and this lead the recent regional developments to change in benefit of the two countries," Ahmadinejad said.
