Countries in the region should expand cooperation with the Iranian media, said Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Husseini.
Addressing the 17th Festival of the international press and news agencies in Tehran, Husseini said that the countries of the region should receive the news about Iran not from the Western media, but from the Iranian media.
The festival in Tehran is attended by 175 media outlets from 55 countries and 250 guests. The festival itself began on Oct. 25 and will continue for 10 days. The festival is also attended by Azerbaijani Trend International News Agency.
