Iran should expand military presence in sea: Leader
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said Iran should expand its military presence in the sea, The Tehran Times reported.
In light of current events and the geopolitics of the modern world, Iran should strengthen its position in the sea and on the coast, Ayatollah Khamenei said in a meeting with the Navy commander, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, and other senior Navy officials on Sunday.
It is essential for the future of the Navy that it increase the number of its personnel and identify and discover new talents, the Leader stated.
And these objectives can be achieved through effective management, he added.
