Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari has arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on an official visit to discuss ways to enhance bilateral ties, Press Tv reported, with reference to Mehr news agency.
Zebari arrived at Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport on Tuesday.
The Iraqi foreign minister's visit comes at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi.
During his stay, Zebari will hold talks with senior Iranian officials, including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to discuss bilateral ties.
The senior Iraqi official's visit will be day-long, according to Iran's Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaeifar.
