Iran has become immune to enemy attacks, because of its new missile redirection system, Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base Farzad Esmaili said, online JameJam newspaper reported.

"The system of redirecting enemy missiles is at its final stages of development," Esmaili said. "Once its finished, the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base will be in full control of it".

When a guided missile is launched by the enemy, it is not possible to destroy it through jamming systems, however it is possible to redirect it in a way that the missile loses its targeting capability.

Esmaili noted that the system will be used in case of any attack on Iran's territory.
