Iran has abolished country's national symphony orchestra, ILNA reported.
Several of the orchestra's players speaking to ILNA said that th orchestra has been abolished due to financial difficulties.
The players added that they haven't been practicing for three months. They also said that they had no secure future at their jobs, because they were not legally accepted to play in the orchestra.
The orchestra has become active last year, after a 2 year break.
The national symphony orchestra of Iran has been established in 1998 by Mohsen Rajabpour, with the support from country's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
Rajabpour acted as orchestra's executive director for 11 years, before resigning from his post.
After 2009, the orchestra has been transferred to the Rudaki Foundation.
