Three young men charged of rape, kidnapping and robbery were hanged in the Iranian Karaj city of the Alborz province today morning, Mehr news agency reported.
Iranian court has sentenced them to prison, flog and death due to rape and kidnapping crimes against women and robbery from 13 men.
It should be recalled that, regional court's sentence has been approved by Iran's Supreme Court.
Iran ranks second, after China, in terms of the number of executions in the world. During the last 6 months, about 150 people were hanged in Iran in total.
