Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has shared a congratulatory message with his followers on his Facebook page.
"Greetings, friends. I would like to congratulate you on the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ, the great prophet of peace, justice and compassion," Zarif wrote.
Christmas is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and a widely observed cultural holiday, celebrated generally on December 25 by billions of people around the world.
