(IRNA) - The election headquarters of the Interior Ministry here Tuesday released the final results of the second by-elections of the 7th Majlis for the city of Tehran.
By-elections were held Friday in three constituencies -- Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr (taken as one), Bam and Ahvaz.
The 4th Assembly of Experts and 3rd local council elections were also held simultaneously across the country on the same day, reports Trend.
As per results released by the Interior Ministry's election headquarters, Hassan Ghafouri-Fard, with 452,801 votes, and Soheila Jelodarzadeh, with 307,618 votes, out of a total of 2,111,037 votes cast are the Majlis deputies-elect for the city of Tehran.
