The "Russian Helicopters" holding and the Iranian PANHA company signed the contracts on assistance in equipping the Mi-17 helicopter repair service and supplying the spare parts, Alexander Scherbinin, the deputy general director of the holding, told RIA Novosti Nov. 11.

Two contracts, the amount of which is not specified, have been signed to work out the agreements reached by MAKS International Aviation and Space Salon and the Iran Aviation Industries Organization, as well as in accordance with the memorandum signed with the PANHA plant in October 2015.

A roadmap on this project implementation, envisaging the creation of a large-scale center for the Mi-17 maintenance and overhaul, has been agreed, a top manager said at the Dubai Airshow-2015 exhibition.

"The first contract specifies the general conditions for rendering the technical assistance in equipping the Mi-17 maintenance center," the top manager said.

The second contract includes the general conditions for supplying the spare parts and delivering the documents for the maintenance and repair of Mi-17 helicopters.
