Iran’s gas oil export breaks historic record

Iran increased gas oil export to a historic level at 600,000 tons per month, or 22.6 million liters per day (ml/d), Mohsen Qamsari, the director for international affairs of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said Oct.14.

He said that this volume is a historic record happened ever, Mehr reported.

He didn’t elaborate the average volume of gas oil in the current fiscal year, started on March 21, but according to the official statistics, Iran exported 5.1 ml/d of gasoline last fiscal year (FY).

The country’s gas oil bunkering amount also stood at 0.8 ml/d last FY.

Iran produced 89.4 ml/d and consumed 82.2 ml/d of gas oil during last FY.
