The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 13:
Export floor: Offers 41,800 tons of bitumen and sulfur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 111,792 tons of chemicals, polymers, bitumen, vacuum bottom feed stock, lube cut oil and slaps waxes.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,980 tons of iron beam..
Agriculture floor: Offers 171,000 day-old chickens, 10,000 tons of wheat, 5,500 tons of sugar, 2,000 tons of crude vegetable oil, 8,129 tons of corn, and 170 tons of large lentil.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium, as well as 1,000 tons of toluene.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
