Over the first five months (March 21-Aug. 22) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), the bank loan balance in Iran increased by 20 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
The balance of deposits increased by 27.4 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the report.

According to the CBI, most deposits account for Tehran province, while the least amount of deposits accounts for Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province.
