Iran's parliament speaker has expressed support of Iran and China's strategic relations for expanding cooperation.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has emphasized that the parliament supports strategic relations with Iran in a message to his counterparts, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Iranian parliament speaker has congratulated new Chinese year in separate messages to Li Zhanshu the chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Wang Yang the chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, stating that Iran's parliament would support the development of friendly cooperation in various fields.
"Following a recent virtual meeting between the two parliaments, I would like to emphasize on common belief between the two parliaments on expanding friendly cooperation in various fields. The parliament will support any action that would strengthen strategic relations between the two countries. I am assured that with joint efforts, we would witness a new chapter in joint cooperation," Ghalibaf said.
