Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said talks between Iran and 3 European countries on nuclear issue were ˈconstructiveˈ and ˈhelpfulˈ and helped the two sides to know more about each other, IRNA reported.
'However, differences on basic points still exist,' said Araqchi.
Representatives from Iran and 3 European countries, Germany, France, and Britain, negotiated for 5 hours on Thursday in Vienna. The talks were a prelude to main talks which are scheduled to be held next week in New York on the sidelines of UN General Assembly annual meetings.
