Interior minister underlines full security at Iran’s borders

Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli Hossein reiterated Tehran's tight control over the country's borders, saying the security forces are keeping a watchful eye on every suspicious move along the borderline, IRNA reported.

"At present, the country's borders are fully secure and the necessary measures have also been adopted at the Eastern borders," Rahmani Fazli told reporters in the city of Mashhad, Northeastern Iran, on Friday.

The Iranian interior minister pointed to the responsibility of the provincial and federal officials in reinforcing Dogharoun border region in Khorasan province, and border security is important to economic and trade activities .
