According to informed sources, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan intends to assign to the National Assembly (NA) his deputy chief of staff, Tigran Gevorgyan, as NA Chief of Staff, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

"On one occasion, PM had already announced to his close circles that, 'I will designate my guy as NA Chief of Staff, [and] the parliament will be all mine.' They are talking, among the [ ruling coalition's Republican Party of Armenia] RPA, that Tigran Sargsyan could perhaps become NA Speaker, after the upcoming parliamentary elections, and he is already attempting to send his men to NA on a mission. At present, NA Chief of Staff's duties are placed upon singer Sofi Mkheyan's father, Gagik Mkheyan, who likewise is trying to take that office. But his chances are not assessed highly," News.am reported according to Haykakan Zhamanak.
