Participants of the protests against the election of Serzh Sargsyan as prime minister of the country started blocking the central streets of Yerevan, RIA Novosti reported.

The oppositionists have already blocked the intersection of Tumanyan and Abovyan streets, as well as the intersection of Mashtots avenue and Amiryan street. Groups of protesters move to the center - the Republic Square through the Northern avenue.

Earlier, the head of the action, MP Nikol Pashinyan said that the protesters will try to block all the ways to the parliament on Tuesday. He proposed to block the central streets at night, and also to begin blocking streets and roads in the regions of the country.
