NGO Network to Hold Conference in Georgia

Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / The non-government organization network GRINGO will hold a conference at the Village House Hotel in the city of Chavkisi on 1 October at 11am [ Tbilisi time]. Eighty organizations from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia (North Caucus), which are involved in refugee issues, will take part in the conference.

Representatives of conflict regions of Nagorno - Karabakh and Tzinkhvali will also attend the forum. The conference will be dedicated to the 50th jubilee of GRINGO and annual General Assembly of the organization.

The Dutch Refugee Council is the organizer of the conference.

The NGO network was established in 2002 and now unites 80 NGOs, involved in refugee and conflict issues. The work of the organization is coordinated from Baku, Yerevan, Tbilisi and Stavropol.
