( Prime-News ) - The Central Election Commission of Georgia (CEC) has not received a statement from the presidential candidate Badri Patarkatsishvili on withdrawal of his candidacy from the presidential race.
Prime-News was told at the CEC about that today.
Presidential candidate Badri Patarkatsishvili made a decision to withdraw his candidacy from running at the early presidential elections yesterday.
"I am ready to appeal CEC to refuse participation in the presidential elections, I am grateful of the people who believed me, I will fulfill all promises given to Georgian people", reads Patarkatsishvili's statement widespread by his press service on Thursday.
