"Solidarity groups" involved in cleansing the city of Telavi from the effects of the disaster. A group of 200 people who arrived in Telavi from regions of Imereti, Shida Kartli and Kvemo Kartli, are helping local residents in the aftermath of the disaster, apsny.ge reported.
"It is a pity that disaster has caused so much damage to Telavi region. We came from several regions in order to help people in need. However, last year also caused damage to the same area and Khashuri Surami, and yesterday I called and many reported that many people and are now in the Vale, and that we need to go and help them, "- said the Khashuri district MP Bacho Kitiashvili.
"Group Solidarity" will remain in the disaster area for several days.
