Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili received UEFA president Michel Platini on Friday.

Former captain of the Georgian team, Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze and Minister of Youth and Sports Levan Kipiani attended the meeting.

The sides discussed the prospects of developing the Georgian football, Prime Minister's website in Facebook said.

After the meeting, Michel Platini presented a memorable gift to Georgian Prime Minister.

Michel Platini attended the opening of the UEFA Futsal final four at the Sports Palace on Friday. Some 20 high-ranking guests, including UEFA Vice-President and Football Federation presidents of different countries also attended the event.
