Bank of Georgia provided full funding for the “Fabrica 1900” cardboard producing company in the amount of 17 million Georgian lari ($5.4 million), Trend reports via Georgian media.
With the support of the Bank of Georgia, “Fabrica 1900” expanded with adding new equipment.
“We have acquired new equipment, which will allow us to quadruple the production line, which will lead to the company's financial sustainability, creating new jobs. At this stage, the company employs more than 100 people,” Natia Bolkvadze, the CFO of the company, said.
“Fabrica 1900 produces packaging paper with the possibility of multiple processing. The company will process an average of 4,000 tons of paper per month under the new machinery,” Giorgi Tserodze, the Head of the Corporate Banking Sector of the Bank of Georgia.
