Bank of Georgia financing confectionery plant construction

The Bank of Georgia allocated financing to the local 'Food Alliance' company (deals with frozen pastry) for opening a new enterprise in Mtskheta city of Georgia, Trend reports via Georgian media.

The Bank provided 6.5 million Georgian lari ($2 million) for the construction of a frozen confectionery plant. The total cost is 11 million Georgian lari ($3.5 million).

“We are glad that another enterprise was opened with the support of the Bank of Georgia. The “Food Alliance” company plans to expand further and create new jobs. We are confident that the company will be able to successfully implement the plans,” Zurab Kokosadze, the Deputy CEO of the Bank of Georgia in Corporate Banking, said.

Meanwhile, the Bank of Georgia has already funded many Georgian enterprises. In particular, recently, the Bank provided full funding for the “Fabrica 1900” cardboard producing company in the amount of 17 million Georgian lari ($5.4 million).
