The export volume of Georgia’s apples from August 1 through December 12, 2021, amounted to 3,449 tons worth $2.2 million, Trend reports referring to the publication of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia.
The largest volume of Georgia’s apple export accounted for Russia (3,443 tons), while the remaining 5 tons of apples were exported to Armenia.
According to the previous statistics, the export volume of Georgia’s apples from August 1 through December 5, 2021, amounted to 3,263 tons worth $2.1 million
The main exporters were again Russia (3,257 tons) and Armenia (5 tons).
According to the Ministry, the export price of Georgian apples during the reporting period of 2021 increased by 50 percent amid a decline in apple exports.
