Bank of Georgia allocates funds to local shoemaking company for exporting goods to US

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Jan. 26

Georgia’s GEODE shoe manufacturing company is looking to expand its exports, backed by the Bank of Georgia, Trend reports via the company.

Thanks to the 50,000 Georgian lari ($16,286) funding, the company aims to export its goods to the US and Azerbaijan.

“With the support of Bank of Georgia, GEODE will have the opportunity to offer its products to customers,” Tamar Khebrelashvili, the founder of the company, said.

Meanwhile, the Bank of Georgia continues to actively support local businesses.

“We are glad that within the framework of cooperation we have the opportunity to contribute to the future development of the business. We want to wish success to GEODE, and we will continue to strengthen local entrepreneurs and businesses,” the bank said.
