BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Georgia's Finance Minister, Lasha Khutsishvili held high-level meetings during the annual spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), Khutsishvili said in a message on his Facebook, Trend reports.
During the meetings, important discussions with foreign financial institutions and investment companies were held.
Khutsishvili and the President of the National Bank of Georgia Koba Gvenetadze met with the Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Bo Lee. During the meeting Khutsishvili thanked the Deputy Managing Director of the IMF for the Fund's support of Georgia's reform agenda. The sides reviewed the current macroeconomic and fiscal parameters of the country, the economic recovery trends.
As the Minister of Finance noted, the new program will contribute to the continuation of structural reforms and the maintenance of fiscal stability in the country. At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to further develop relations between Georgia and the International Monetary Fund.
