At least 10 Libyan rebels killed west of Ajdabiya in Libya

At least 10 Libyan rebels were killed Sunday in a fierce fight with the Libyan government troops to the west of the eastern town of Ajdabiya, Xinhua reporters witnessed.

A convoy of the rebels were hit by the missiles from the government troops loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in the west of Ajdabiya on Sunday afternoon, and Xinhua reporters witnessed at least 10 dead bodies at the scene.

Ambulances have arrived the scene, but the number of the injured is not yet clear.

At least a house and several cars in the town were also destroyed by missiles from the government troops, according to Xinhua reporters. No casualties were reported yet.
