( dpa ) - US President George W Bush on Friday opened his third and final day of talks in Israel and the Palestinian areas with a visit to Jerusalem's Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial.
Bush arrived at the complex in his motorcade with sirens blaring, accompanied by a police escort on motorbikes.
Hosted by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and President Shimon Peres, he is to visit Israel's Holocaust History Museum at the complex, lay a wreath at the Hall of Remembrance and visit a memorial to children killed in Nazi camps and ghettos.
A devout Christian, Bush was also scheduled to fly by helicopter to the Mount of Beatitudes, where tradition has it Jesus gave his Sermon on the Mount, before Bush flies to Kuwait for the next leg of his Middle East tour.
