Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the killings in the Syrian town of Houla over the weekend, and urged the world to intervene, dpa reported.
A statement from Netanyahu's office sent overnight said the premier expressed "revulsion over the ongoing massacre being perpetrated by the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad against innocent civilians, which ... included dozens of innocent children."
The statement noted that "Iran and Hizbullah are an inseparable part of the Syrian atrocities" and called on the world to "act against them."
