Indicted war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic was administered Holy Communion by Serbian Orthodox Bishop Amfilohije, reported dpa.

The bishop received Karadzic's confession and an assurance from the one-time leader that for 30 years he had led his personal and professional life according to the "commandments of Jesus Christ."

The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague indicted Karadzic on charges including genocide and crimes against humanity for the brutal ethnic cleansing of non-Serbs during the Bosnian war, which killed 100,000 people. dpa ko mga
