The troubled singer - who was recently hospitalised and was reported to be suffering from the early stages of emphysema - says the TV game show, which sees contestants test their spelling and mathematical knowledge, is her favourite programme.
She said: "I like 'Countdown'. I would love to go on 'Countdown'. On my life, I would love to go on 'Countdown'!"
Amy - who is married to Blake Fielder-Civil, who this week was jailed for 27 months for GBH (grievous bodily harm) and perverting the course of justice - claims she is desperately trying to get her life back on track following her hospitalisation.
She added: "I am eating loads of healthy food, sleeping loads, playing on my guitar and making music. And writing letters to my husband Blake every day."
Amy also revealed she wants at least five children and twins when Blake is released from prison.
She said: "I love kids. To be honest, I think kids have got a lot more going on than adults. They've got their heads screwed on a lot better. Blake and I can't wait to have kids. I want at least five kids, and I want twins."
