Pirates seize yacht with 19 people aboard off Corsica

Four armed men commandeered a 55-metre luxury yacht near the French island of Corsica, looting the vessels' safe, French media reported Monday, dpa reported.

Arriving on a dinghy, the men seized the vessel overnight as it was lying at anchor off the southern Corsican town of Porto Vecchio, overcoming the ship's 10-man crew and nine passengers before fleeing, according to broadcaster France Info.
