Azerbaijan, Baku, March 6 / Trend / Russia and the United States remain divided on the issue of Georgia. Such a statement was made by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a joint briefing with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Geneva. The briefing was live-broadcasted by Vesti TV channel.
Clinton described the talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as productive. "I am looking forward to continued dialogue and collaboration on a number of issues," she said.
Clinton also noted that the United States and Russia have made a good start to improve relations.
Clinton said that the U.S. has no intention to abandon the unilateral and multilateral sanctions against Iran.
