There is growing evidence that Iran is supplying the Syrian regime, following the interception of shipments, British Prime Minister David Cameron said Wednesday, dpa reported.
Cameron told parliament that evidence had been uncovered pointing to Tehran as the provider of weapons for Syrian security forces for their crackdown on protesters.
"There is now growing evidence that Iran is providing a huge amount of support. There have been interceptions of some shipments by Turkey which are particularly interesting," said Cameron in answer to a parliamentary question.
