Two buses collided on a road outside the Sudanese capital killing 33 people and injuring dozens more, according to police officials on Thursday, reported dpa.
The officials said a bus traveling to the city of Medani from Khartoum late on Wednesday attempted to pass a vehicle and crashed into a bus coming in the opposite direction.
The narrow route between Khartoum and Medani is a regular scene of accidents and locals have dubbed it the "road of death."
