Parliament speaker of Turkey to travel to Hungary
Turkish Parliament Speaker will go to Hungary on October 2 upon an invitation from Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Katalin Szili, reported World Bulletin news.
Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan will go to Hungary on October 2 upon an invitation from Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Katalin Szili to attend promotion meeting of European Capital of Culture for 2010. Toptan will meet Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom, Parliament Speaker Szili, and Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurchsany. Turkish Parliament Speaker will also have an informal meeting with German Parliament Speaker Nobert Lammert, who could be in Budapest to attend the meeting.
Toptan, Szili and Lammer will give a joint new conference after the signing ceremony of a Joint Statement.
Within the scope of the visit Toptan will inaugurate Istanbul-Essen-Pec Exhibition as well as Dolmabahce Exhibition. Toptan is expected to return to Turkey on October 5.
