Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay visits to Kuwait and Qatar between Jan. 9 and 12, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Thursday.
Erdogan is expected to meet with Amir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Prime Minister Nasser al-Mohammed al-Ahmad al-Sabah and Parliament Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi during his visit to Kuwait from Jan. 9 to 11, Xinhua reported.
After attending the Turkey-Kuwait Business Forum, Erdogan will receive Abdulwahab al-Bader, the director-general of Kuwait Fund and he will be presented with an award by the Sheikh Fahad al- Ahmad International Award for Charity.
Erdogan will proceed to Qatar on Jan. 11 to meet with Amir Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabir Al-Thani.
Prime Minister Erdogan is also set to attend the Turkey-Qatar Business Forum, and is expected to return to Turkey on January 12.
