Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Russia on Tuesday, Anadolu News Agency reported.
Erdogan will pay a three-day formal visit to that country.
Turkish State Minister Hayati Yazici, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Industry & Trade Minister Nihat Ergun also departed for Russia with Erdogan.
Energy-related issues such as Samsun-Ceyhan oil pipeline, South Stream natural gas pipeline and construction of a nuclear power plant will be on top of agenda of Erdogan's talks with Russian authorities.
