Volume of crude oil transshipment via Turkish ports disclosed

The volume of crude oil transshipment through the Turkish ports amounted to 2.7 million tons in January 2020, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Feb. 27.

In January 2020, the volume of crude oil transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag through the Turkish ports amounted to 151,845 tons.

Meanwhile, ships flying the flag of other countries transported over 2.5 million tons of crude oil through the Turkish ports.

In January 2020, more than 4.1 million tons of crude oil were transported through the Turkish ports.

The volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports exceeded 32.9 million tons. The volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.4 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flag of other countries amounted to 30.5 million tons.

In January 2020, over 6.1 million tons of cargo transshipment in transit were carried out through Turkish ports.
