Some 3,673 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Russia in the first four months of 2020, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports on May 18 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"For the reporting period, 0.99 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation by trucks from Turkey accounted for Russia," the association said.
According to the association, 744 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Russia in April 2020, which is 20 percent less than in April 2019.
In total, 369,978 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through April 2020, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 79,909 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in April 2020, which is 23 percent less compared to April 2019.
