The Turkish port of Iskenderun had received 703 ships from January through February 2021, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Apr.5.
According to the ministry, in the reporting period, among the received ships 133 flied the Turkish flag, and other 570 - flags of other countries.
Overall, in the first 2 months of this year, Turkish ports received 7,809 ships, including 2,333 ones flying Turkish flag, the ministry said.
“The remaining 5,476 ships received by the local ports flied the flags of other countries,” added the ministry.
