Value of Turkey’s export of carpets to Uzbekistan has grown from January through June 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator exceeded $1.4 million, which is increase of 52.5 percent year on year.
At the same time, the export of carpets from Turkey to Uzbekistan decreased by 1.6 percent in June 2021 compared to June 2020, down to $335,000.
Turkey increased the export of carpets by 54.6 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $1.6 billion.
Turkey exported carpets worth $298 million in June 2021, which is by 52.7 percent more than in June 2020.
Turkey’s export of carpets totaled nearly $3.2 billion over the last 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021).
