The value of cement export from Turkey to Turkmenistan has grown in the first eight months of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this figure amounted to over $14.4 million, up by 5.5 percent on annual basis.
In August 2021, Turkey exported cement worth over $1.6 million to Turkmenistan, which 20 percent below the August 2020 level, the ministry said.
Turkey’s total export value of cement increased by 25.8 percent in the first eight months of this year compared to the same period of last year - up to $3 billion.
Turkey exported cement worth $421.3 million in the 8th month of 2021, which is 32.3 percent more year on year.
In the last 12 months (from August 2020 to August 2021), Turkey’s cement exports amounted to $4.3 billion.
