Volume of cargo received by Turkish port of Antalya revealed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. The Turkish port of Antalya received 2.5 million tons of cargo from January through September 2023, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye said, Trend reports.

According to the information, 109,470 tons of cargo were transported from the port of Antalya by ships under the flag of Türkiye, and 2.3 million tons by ships under the flags of other countries.

"A total of 738 tons of transit cargo were transported from the Turkish port of Antalya from January through September 2023," the ministry said.

In general, Turkish ports received 32 million tons of cargo (ships under the Turkish flag: 2.5 million tons; ships under the flags of other countries: 29.6 million tons) in September 2023.

In addition, 5.1 million tons of transit cargo were transported from the ports of Türkiye in September 2023.

According to the ministry, Turkish ports received 292.6 million tons of cargo (ships under the Turkish flag: 21.7 million tons; ships under the flags of other countries: 270.9 million tons) from January through September 2023.

Moreover, 51.7 million tons of transit cargo were transported from Turkish ports from January through September 2023.
